I would totally love to have an outdoor shower to use during the summer months. I dont want to use straight hose water though. Even in the middle of summer the water from the hose is just too cold to hook straight into a shower head.
You just have to find a way to heat the water up a bit before it hits the shower head. I think the easiest way would be to run the water through a couple hundred feet of black hose up on the roof. The only issue then would be the length of your hot shower… it would be directly related to the length of your hose capturing heat.
After some research I found a really great resource with 10 different ideas on how to heat up water for an outdoor shower. Theres everything from simply hanging a black bag of water all the way to a super elaborate batch water heating system.
